District and regional Christmas fairs in Minsk Oblast will start on 14 December. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by the press service of the Minsk Oblast Executive Committee.
The fairs will offer food products, culinary and confectionery products, industrial goods, fir trees and Christmas tree decorations, souvenirs, gift sets, and handicrafts. Regional Christmas fairs will be held in Minsk Oblast on the pre-holiday and holiday days of Christmas and New Year.
In Borisov, they will be held with the participation of organizations from the Berezina, Borisov, Krupki, Logoisk, Minsk, Pukhovichi, Smolevichi, Cherven districts, Zhodino, in Vileika – with the participation of organizations from the Vileika, Volozhin, Logoisk, Molodechno, Myadel districts; in Molodechno – with the participation of the same districts – December 21. In Nesvizh and Slutsk, fairs will be held on December 22.
In Zhodino, fairs are planned with the participation of organizations from the Berezinsky, Borisovsky, Dzerzhinsky, Krupsky, Logoisk, Minsky, Pukhovichi, Smolevichi, Chervensky districts, Zhodino; in Soligorsk – with the participation of organizations from the Dzerzhinsky, Kletsk, Kopyl, Lyubansky, Nesvizhsky, Slutsk, Soligorsk, Starodorozhsky, Stolbtsy, Uzda districts – on December 28.
“Minsk Region does not remain aloof from the festive events. We are actively preparing for holiday sales, creating a New Year’s mood among buyers. Fairs will be held in the region every weekend starting from December 14. About 80 such fairs will be held. The fairs will not only feature a wide range of product sales, but also a festive atmosphere, and will host cultural events involving creative groups. More than 100 Christmas tree bazaars are also planned, they will be launched on December 21. From December 1, retail outlets will host mass sales of goods at reduced prices, exhibitions and sales, and advertising campaigns. About 500 such events will be held by January 7,” said Natalya Suikova, Head of the Main Department of Trade and Services of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee. Christmas district fairs will be held weekly on weekends from December 14, 2024 to January 7, 2025.
