Today the head of the district visited the Dolgovsky village council. One of the goals is to get a more detailed look at the work of medical institutions in rural areas. As part of the visit, Anatoly Lodyga visited the feldsher-midwife station in the village of Mazurshchina, discussed current issues with the head and employees of the Dolgovskaya nursing hospital. Deputy Chairman Natalya Tsuba and Chief Physician of the Soligorsk Central District Hospital Olga Krech took part in the working visit. And now to the details.
In the village of Mazurshchyna, the head of the district personally familiarized himself with the work of the modular feldsher-midwife station, paying special attention to the practical aspects of its functioning. Let us recall that this FAP, the second of three similar medical institutions opened in the district, began accepting patients in February of this year. Medical workers and residents of Mazurshchyna, as well as three adjacent settlements, have already been able to appreciate the advantages of modern and comfortable medical care provided in the new FAP.
During the visit, the head of the district asked Svetlana Bessonova about the organization of the FAP, discussed the availability of medical services for the population, provision of medicines, as well as the availability and effectiveness of modern medical equipment. They did not avoid everyday issues: communications, heating, temperature conditions, etc., – for the head of the district there were no secondary issues. There can be no unimportant things in caring for people’s health. Anatoly Lodyga decided to see for himself what the residents of Masuria say, praising the new building, the professionalism and responsiveness of the medical staff, the comfort and convenience of the FAP. Svetlana Nikolaevna measured one of the important indicators of human health and the work of the cardiovascular system – blood pressure – for an unusual patient and a rare guest. We, like the doctors, will not disclose the results, but we will say that both the patient and the paramedic parted on a positive note, satisfied with the visit.
The second point of the visit to the Dolgovsky rural council is the nursing hospital. Anatoly Lodyga emphasized that attention is paid to the medical industry at all levels:
— Today’s meeting is a continuation of work in terms of improving both the material and technical base and improving conditions for staff and patients. It is important to know the conditions in which our doctors work, how patients feel, what needs to be changed, what resources to use.
Improvement of work in the medical field, especially in rural areas, was intensified last year on the instructions of the President. In our district, this area has undergone large-scale modernization. In particular, last year, 3 modular FAPs were installed, including thanks to sponsorship, which have proven themselves as highly effective and comfortable medical institutions. Positive feedback from employees and patients confirms the correctness of the chosen direction in the development of rural medicine.
As for the Dolgovskaya Nursing Hospital, work continues here. Today, we can evaluate the interim results. It all started with replacing the windows, last year the heating system was modernized. At the moment, work is underway to replace the doors. In the future – replacing the roof.
Anatoly Lodyga emphasized that in the Dolgovskaya Nursing Hospital, care for patients is clearly visible. Today, the hospital cares for 38 people, 22 of whom need round-the-clock care – these are bedridden patients after a stroke, heart attack. Here, the highest assessment can be given to the work of the staff. The head of the district moved away from the official phrase “social standards are met here”, speaking about the attitude of the staff, their enormous work, and patients, – lonely and those who have relatives, who by the will of fate found themselves in difficult circumstances. Our doctors today help both of them not to be hostages of the situation. They have taken on an important function – caring for the most severe patients. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, they are responsible for the lives and health of people.
“Today, state social care for such patients is a priority. We must pay tribute to our doctors, nurses, orderlies, nannies who work here. I would like to address words of gratitude for their work, with deep respect to say about the work that they do every day,” said Anatoly Lodyga. “Because they relieve most of the burden from families who face such a problem. I repeat, today the state has taken on the care of such patients. Such institutions are salvation. Here people receive professional medical care around the clock.”
The head of the district, developing the topic, said that the step-by-step work to improve the medical sphere in the Soligorsk district will be continued. This concerns not only rural settlements, but also Soligorsk. The conversation with the head doctor of the Soligorsk Central District Hospital Olga Krech, who also took part in the working visit of the head of the district, touched on these issues. Systematic work is underway. Financial support is also provided by the region.
