The Honored Amateur Group of the Republic of Belarus, the Folk Dance Ensemble “Suzor” celebrated its silver anniversary with a bright and memorable concert on the stage of the Palace of Culture. Two parts of the show program “Breath of the Stars” are a real dance extravaganza, where each number was imbued with love for the native culture and the skill of the group.
The permanent director of the ensemble, Vadim Matantsev, together with his talented students accepted congratulations, gave the audience immeasurably more – inspiration, talent, love! Everyone knows that “Suzor” is a high level of skill. But every time, as if for the first time, seeing talented guys on stage, the audience is amazed at the level of mastery of choreographic art, their virtuosity and grace. Each dance is a story told in the language of movement, each movement is a new stroke, a new shade in this endless story. Here are emotions, and traditions, and soul, and meaning, and mood. At the same time, each viewer reads his own story.

In 1999, the first ensemble consisted of only 10 people. Today, “Suzor”e” is more than four hundred people.
The group has repeatedly participated in concerts at the main venues of the country, has government awards, awards from the Ministry of Culture, regional and district executive committees. As well as awards for strengthening international ties between countries. “Suzor”e” has repeatedly become a laureate and winner of the Grand Prix of international festivals of choreographic creativity. Geography of tours: cities of Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Ukraine, Georgia, Tatarstan, Poland, Spain, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Belgium, France and Italy.
The anniversary concert became an opportunity not only to enjoy the beautiful art, but also to congratulate the group on this significant date. Many congratulations from the district management, colleagues, friends and fans of the ensemble were heard on stage. There were also awards: the director and participants of “Suzor” I” were awarded certificates of honor, letters of gratitude of various levels, gifts and cash certificates.
Among the guests of honor were: Chairman of the Soligorsk District Executive Committee Anatoly Lodyga; Head of the Department of Culture and Folk Art of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus Irina Karpovich; Director of the Minsk Regional Center for Folk Art Irina Poznyak; Candidate of Art History, Associate Professor of the Department of Choreography of the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts Irina Konovalchik; Director, playwright, teacher of theater disciplines of the Department of Artistic Creativity and Producing of the Shiroky Private Institute of Modern Knowledge Aleksey Demidchik; Teacher of the Cycle Commission “Choreographic Art of the Educational Institution “Minsk State College of Arts” Tatyana Shchuchko.
Head of the district Anatoly Lodyga congratulated the team on the anniversary:

The desire for self-improvement, supported by a great desire to do what you love, the presence of teams – companions and highly qualified leaders – all this instills faith in the further successful creative destiny of the team.
Over the years, you have not only developed skills and honed your performing skills, but also created real masterpieces that delighted and inspired thousands of viewers. Your team has become not only a real family, where each participant is important and valuable, but also a calling card of our region. This is what makes this anniversary so special and significant.
Allow me to express my deep appreciation and gratitude to each of you for your contribution to the development and success of this team, famous not only in our region, but also far beyond our country. True confirmation of this is the worthy representation of Belarus in the Commonwealth countries and abroad, invariably accompanied by high praise for professionalism and skill, national color, high moral and spiritual potential of your creativity.
Your efforts, patience and love for dance are what make you strong and invincible. May this anniversary year bring even more inspiration, new ideas and, of course, success for the benefit of your native country. May each of you maintain the desire to win the hearts of viewers and prestigious awards at domestic and international competitions with the soft power of art. After all, 25 is only the beginning of your great creative journey. Ahead of you are many holidays, bright performances and well-deserved awards. Inspiration, optimism, creative longevity and prosperity! And may the dance melodies of “Suzorye” sound in unison with the “breath of the stars” for a long time!
Anatoly Lodyga went beyond the protocol, formal congratulations. He prepared a special surprise – an author’s poem dedicated to “Suzorye”. It was a touching and sincere performance, which once again emphasized the importance and significance of creativity, which the stars and starlets of the dance group generously share. Soligorsk talents inspired with beauty and harmony, a deep understanding of the nature of choreography and the ability to convey the essence to the audience. The poetic lines, born in a moment of inspiration, were imbued with sincere warmth and love for the talented members of the group.
The concert was a wonderful gift for all lovers of folk dance and confirmed the high level of skill of the Honored Amateur Group of the Republic of Belarus, the Folk Dance Ensemble “Suzor”. This group continues to preserve and develop the rich cultural heritage of Belarus, winning the recognition and love of the audience for many years. New creative achievements and triumphs await “Suzor”!
The congratulations of the graduates of the ensemble were very touching and sincere. The director on stage was showered with words of admiration, gratitude, and given gifts, often made with their own hands. They spoke very warmly about the time spent in the ensemble, in a large and friendly family.
The recognition of the talent of both the leader and the participants of the ensemble was heard from the lips of the director of the Minsk regional center of folk art Irina Poznyak. The head of the department of ideological work, culture and youth affairs of the Soligorsk district executive committee Tatyana Kirbay congratulated the team on a wonderful date, thanked for the inspiration and mood that the artists give when performing on stage, emphasized that “Suzor” is a brand of Soligorsk, its heritage.
