Description of the coat of arms of the city of Soligorsk

The coat of arms of the city of Soligorsk is a symbol of the modern mining town and represents a shield of “Varangian” (“iron-shaped”) shape, rectangular top and pointed bottom. The field of the coat of arms is vertically divided into two parts. The left (from the viewer) part of the shield is blue, with half a golden spike. In the right one there are twelve oblique alternating stripes (“cuts”) of red (scarlet) and silver (white) colors.

These stripes symbolize the layers of potash salts lying in the same order and also colored, the main natural wealth of the miner’s Soligorshchyna. A golden ear in a blue field symbolizes fertility, the life-giving power that potash fertilizers give to the soil. The ear also symbolizes the economic power, economic prosperity and national unity of the city.

Regulations on the coat of arms of the city of Soligorsk

1. The coat of arms of the city of Soligorsk is a symbol of a modern mining town and represents a shield of “Varangian” (“iron-like”) shape: rectangular top and pointed bottom. The field of the coat of arms is blue with half a golden ear. On the right there are twelve oblique alternating stripes (“vrubs”) of red (scarlet) and silver (white) colors.
2. The image of the coat of arms of the city can be placed:
– on the building of the city Executive Committee;
– in public buildings of all forms of ownership located on the territory of the city;
– on the seals and letterheads of organizations, enterprises and institutions of the city that have received permission from the city executive committee to use it;
– on commendatory and honorary certificates, diplomas and certificates issued by these enterprises, organizations and institutions;
– on advertising posters, brochures, souvenirs and other products with the permission of the city executive Committee;
– in the design of the city, shop windows and other buildings during city holidays;
– in other cases not mentioned in the Regulations on the Coat of Arms of Soligorsk, the right to use the coat of arms of the city may be given to the city executive committees on appropriate conditions.
3. The production of the image of the coat of arms of the city by printing, from metal, gypsum and other materials, as well as in the form of woodcarving, embossing and other three-dimensional forms is carried out by business entities that have been issued the appropriate license.
Enterprises and organizations, as well as citizens, have the right to individually produce an image of the coat of arms of the city without further implementation and replication, provided that the artistic value of this image is ensured and its full compliance with the approved standard.
Reproductions of color, graphic and three-dimensional images of the coat of arms of the city, regardless of its size, must always correspond to the standards of color, black-and-white and three-dimensional images of the coat of arms attached to the Regulations on the Coat of Arms of the city of Soligorsk.
4. Orders for the production of a mass-circulation image of the coat of arms of the city can be carried out by all organizations, enterprises and institutions of the city that have received permission from the city executive Committee.
5. When making an image of the coat of arms of the city or replicating it, it is necessary to ensure conditions that do not allow disrespectful attitude towards it.
6. Responsibility for compliance with the requirements of the Regulations on the Coat of Arms of the city of Soligorsk is assigned to the information department of the City Executive Committee and heads of organizations, enterprises and institutions.
